Who is NOTOM for ?
For process engineers, production managers, and OT directors who want to regain control over their automation systems without depending on an integrator or a proprietary vendor, on existing sites as well as greenfield projects.
Do I need to replace my existing PLCs ?
No. NOTOM connects to your existing infrastructure via OPC UA, Modbus TCP and other protocols, including mixed multi-brand fleets. The NOTOM controller comes into play when you want to take greater control over the control logic, for example in the context of a revamping project or a new production line.
What are the three modules ?
Connect collects and historizes data; Interact allows process engineers to program control logic through a no-code interface; Integrate opens your lines to AI agents and third-party systems via the MCP protocol.
Do I need to be an automation specialist to use NOTOM ?
No. Interact's no-code interface is designed for process engineers without PLC training. The automation specialist remains available to supervise, but is no longer the bottleneck for every change.
